THE LEGION Complete Songwriting For New Album
January 24, 2005Swedish black/death metallers THE LEGION, featuring current MARDUK drummer Emil Dragutinovic, have posted the following message regarding the recording sessions for the group's sophomore album:
"We now have nine pieces of whirling chaos finished and we’re really looking forward to start the recording. Unfortunately, the recording might be delayed a while because of Emil's touring schedule with MARDUK, but we're planning to get started as soon as possible. We've also got a new place in which we're building our own studio and therefore we'll be able to handle some parts of the recording on our own."
THE LEGION's debut album, "Unseen To Creation", was released in October 2003 through France's Listenable Records. The CD, which was recorded at Abyss Studios with producer Tommy Tägtgren, features "ten songs of complex and eclectic black/death metal, ranging in style from MORBID ANGEL to SETHERIAL." The cover art was done by Kris Verwimp, who has previously worked with MARDUK, ABSU, and IMMORTAL, among others.
